Conscious dance festival

This year's festival,
entitled "Memory of the Body, Wisdom of the Soul",
aims to deepen an individual's wholeness.

The body stores many experiences in its tissues. In dance, it recalls them, opens them up so that they can be used at a specific time for our growth, self-development and benefit. We have no idea why a particular memory, association or image opens up, but through connecting with the subtle energy of the soul we can follow the process and understand its calling better.

The fact that we are in contact with our soul is not a given - in Czech we have phrases such as "a body without a soul" or "lost his soul" and, for example, in the word soulful or the phrase "talks to me from the soul", we can perceive a specific exceptional quality.

The word soul is included in some part of both of our foreign guests' work. At this dance festival, you can meet the Soul Motion school for the first time in the Czech Republic and Kira Kaipainen often leads her dance workshops under the name Shake your Soul.

We believe that this topic will bring a lot of good to you.

You can look forward to unforgettable experiences:

including, possibly your first meeting with the SOUL MOTION school, represented by the experienced EDGAR SPIEKER, co-founder of The Soul Motion Institute in Germany.

And also the return of the musical magicians NILS KERCHER and his partner KIRA KAIPAINEN, who are returning, due to their great acclaim in 2024, with an offering of West African acoustic instrumental and vocal music and dance.

Edgar Spieker is a Soul Motion teacher, co-founder of The Soul Motion Institute and a dance therapist living in Hamburg, Germany.

He has been dancing almost his entire life and has been teaching various movement and vocal expressive techniques for more than 25 years.

The main values ​​that guide his work are sincerity, authenticity and clarity. He enthusiastically accompanies people on their journey to fulfilling their full potential. He believes that at the core of each of us is a dancer, a singer, a creative soul in motion, who not only longs for liberation, but is also very much needed in the world.

NIls Kercher is a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist.

Since childhood, he has lived in an environment full of music. At the age of six, he started playing the violin. As a teenager, he had to convince his parents several times that he wanted to play the drums, and soon after, he discovered West African percussion. He played in various bands and couldn't wait to finally get his high school diploma so that he could travel to Africa and continue his studies there. There, he also started playing the kora, a 21-string African harp, and developed his own musical style from all those sounds.

Kira Kaipainen has been a passionate dancer since early childhood.

After intensive study of bodywork and many dance styles, she learned from artists of the National Ballet of Guinea and further educated herself at the National Institute of Arts in Bamako, Mali.

In remote villages, she danced with women who had preserved their traditional style and never danced in front of a mirror.

Her long-standing experience with bringing people closer together in circles and earthy movements was a path of love for nature that transcended cultural barriers.

During the festival, you will also meet Czech teachers and experienced organizers:
