Conditions of Participation in the One Dance Festival

Dear participants of the One Dance Festival,

we want to make sure the festival runs smoothly and safely for everyone involved.

Taking into account various recent experiences, we are adjusting and supplementing the conditions of participation.

We therefore ask you to read the following text carefully:

The participant acknowledges that he/she participates in the festival entirely at his/her own risk.

The organizer and the lecturers recommend that the participant attends the entire program and communicates any absence for personal reasons with them.

The lecturer's instructions are only suggestions, which the participant follows to the best of his/her ability.

The participant acknowledges that the festival program may be physically, mentally, or emotionally demanding.

The organiser is not responsible for physical or psychological harm (accidents or injuries) and material damage (e.g. loss of material items or valuables) that occurs to the participant during the festival. The participant will not claim any compensation from the organiser for any damages. The participant shall arrange his/her own insurance for such cases.

The festival is not a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic care.

If the participant is currently undergoing any kind of treatment (especially psychiatric), he/she undertakes to inform the lecturer of this fact and the nature of the difficulties before the festival. The participant undertakes to inform the lecturer about possible medical complications (post-traumatic conditions, long-term illnesses, epilepsy, asthma, etc.).

The participant confirms that he/she does not take psychopharmaceuticals and does not suffer from infectious diseases.

He/she is aware that alcohol and drug prohibition applies throughout the event.

In case of violation of the terms and conditions, inappropriate behaviour during the dance event, the instructor and the organizer have the right to ask the participant to leave the dance event. From the time of commencement, during or after the festival, any claim for refund of the paid course fee as well as food and accommodation fees will be forfeited.

Protection and processing of personal data

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, effective from 25 May 2018 (GDPR).

As a participant in the festival and associated lessons, you provide your personal data via the secure website www.jedentanec.cz

Your personal data is processed

By Jeden tanec s.r.o. and the festival organizer (hereinafter referred to as the controller).

The controller determines the purpose, method and time period for data processing.

If necessary, also by collaborators who participate in the organization and production of dance lessons and workshops and assist with data processing.

You have the right to contact the controller at any time during data processing,

The controller declares that it acts in accordance with applicable legislation and the GDPR. It processes personal data only on the basis of a valid legal reason, primarily a legitimate interest, a legal obligation or consent granted.

Scope of data and purpose of processing:​

The administrator processes the data you provide for the following purposes and to the following extent:

Name, surname, telephone number - registration, reservation of a place for a dance lesson/workshop, communication of more detailed information or current changes regarding the lesson/workshop for which you have registered.

E-mail address - used for direct marketing purposes

- sending commercial communications -

for registered clients (participants of conscious dance lessons and workshops), we assume interest in news and information about upcoming dance lessons, workshops and the festival.

The basis of legitimate interest is the effort to provide services of the highest possible quality and improve the offer of open conscious dance lessons and workshops in the Czech Republic.

The newsletter is usually sent once a month, only on the basis of the consent granted, for a period of 5 years from the date of granting.

Name, surname, address - serves as billing information for issuing and recording tax documents.

Exercising and fulfilling your rights

If you would like to exercise any of your rights (see below), please contact us at jedentanec@gmail.com

You can withdraw your consent to receive newsletters and information about upcoming open dance lessons and workshops at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email you receive, or by sending a withdrawal of consent to jedentanec@gmail.com.

However, withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.

You are not obliged to grant consent. If you do not provide consent, you may not be subject to any negative consequences from the controller.

Furthermore, you have the right to request access to your personal data from the controller, its correction or deletion, or restriction of processing. You have the right to contact the controller to provide evidence, within 30 days of your request, of how your personal data is processed and why.

Your requests will always be properly assessed and settled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and related legal regulations.

The administrator is entitled to request proof of your identity in order to prevent access and exercise of rights by unauthorized persons.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.

When processing your personal data, there is no automated decision-making or processing that would consist of using them to evaluate certain aspects of your person.

If the administrator intends to process your personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were collected, you will always be informed in advance about this other purpose and other related facts and further action will be taken in accordance with applicable legislation.

Transfer of personal data to third parties:

Some of our colleagues who organize full-day and multi-day dance workshops, as well as foreign lecturers, have access to your personal data so that they can contact you if necessary.

As part of my activities, I use partial services and applications of the Google platform. As a data controller, we would also like to inform you that our colleagues who will process your personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality of personal data and also of measures used to secure personal data. I undertake that your personal data will not be provided to any other third party without your consent.

Thanks to the use of modern procedures and available technological solutions, your personal data is protected to the maximum extent possible so that it is not misused or damaged.
